Artist's Comments

This photograph is older and was taken with a pretty crappy digicam but I still like it :D
It was taken at an airplane museum near the Grand Canyon, I took pics of many of the planes, so I might upload some more.

Unfortunately I had cut off a third of the wing which ruined the pic so I cheated with some photomanipulation, so part of the photo on the right is cloned with the "stamp" tool =P hope you can't tell too much.

Taken with an old Olympus 2 Megapixel camera.

I like it, I just can't keep thinking of all the people who used to call this plane home...

Yes and you should've seen the inside, it was pretty fascinating :D

Thanks for the comment!

What are you shooting with nowadays? I'm thinking of getting something new. What did you think of your canon 5 megapixel? I still use an old canon AE-1 but I know 35mm's time is near it's end.

I bought a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ20 for the Burbank Convention. It has a 12x zoom which is pretty groovy although you really still need a tripod if you want to get really good pictures. I was told the good thing about this one is that the zoom doesn't ride out, so it's less likely to get stuck in the future, which is important with cameras where the zoom can't be removed. Of course there are better SLR cameras but they are also a lot more expensive. This one is good for the price.

My last camera was Sony Cybershot, not a Canon so I don't really know about canons.

It really depends on what you want to do with it, I found the shutter speed of my old Sony Cybershot way too slow and I kept missing good opportunities which was very annoying. I took some pictures in Burbank with it too and the difference between them and those taken with my new cam are huge, especially the indoors pics. Close-ups are ok with both though.

5 Megapixels would be good enough though unless you plan on making big posters out of the pics.

I still have an old Nikon FM2 35mm too I've never used it again...

Never be afraid to try something new. Remember that a lone amateur built the Ark.
And a large group of professionals built the Titanic.

Thanks, yeah well I like to be honest just in case someone spotted the patch :D
